'West Texas Wildflowers'
Oil on canvas, 20" x 30"
1927 Texas Wildflower Competitive Exhibition
Awarded Honorable Mention Audly Dean Nicols - 'West Texas Wildflowers', 1927 [7K]

This painting requires close scrutiny to discover the lushness of the land depicted in detail in the foreground, while the background and overall tonality of the work reveal the dry heat in which West Texas wildflowers thrive-RC
